Illustration Project for Cotswold Baby Co
Penelope the Pink Tractor

While working on the Birthday t-shirts me and Kate were chatting about the potential of a pink tractor and it was something that had been discussed with her business partner Rachel.

I am so pleased that they went ahead and I got to create this fun pink tractor, now called Penelope.

Below I am briefly going to explain how I work with my clients:

  1. To start with it is good to have a chat over the phone, emails are great but not the best way to really get the feel for a project and exactly what a client is after. I really enjoy getting to know my clients, it is so lovely when you can have a relaxed conversation.

  2. Once I have built up a picture of what you are after for your illustration, I can then go away and put pencil to paper... Yep still love the feel of actual paper :)

  3. Sketches are then sent over via email for sign off or amends.

  4. Once the sketch or sketches are signed off I can then start working drawing your illustration on Pro-Create which I then air drop to my computer and carrying on working on the illustration in Illustrator to refine the lines work and complete the project.

  5. Once all signed off I then send over all final files over to my clients. Vectors, JPGs and PNGs.

I hope understanding how I work with my clients is helpful.

Below is lovely Penelope and a testimonial from the Cotswold Baby Co.
